This policy explains how Pictura Subastas collects and uses your personal data when you visit picturasubastas.com, buy an artwork or contact us, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law (LOPDGDD).

What data we collect

  • Purchase data: name, email, phone number, billing and shipping address, and the details of your order.
  • Enquiries: the information you send us through enquiry forms, email, phone or WhatsApp.
  • Browsing data: technical information such as IP address, browser and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics.

We do not collect or store your card details. Payments are processed directly by Stripe.

Why we use your data and on what legal basis

  • To process and deliver your order and handle returns (performance of a contract).
  • To answer your enquiries (your request and our legitimate interest).
  • To meet our accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).
  • To understand how our website is used and improve it (your consent, through the cookie settings).
  • To send you news about new works or auctions, only if you have agreed (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

Who we share your data with

We only share data with the providers we need to run our service: Stripe (payments), shipping carriers (delivery), Art Galleria (website and inventory hosting) and Google Analytics (website statistics). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data.

How long we keep your data

Order data is kept for as long as required by tax and commercial law (generally up to six years). Enquiry data is kept while we are in contact and for a reasonable time afterwards. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to or restrict its processing, and ask for data portability. Write to pictura.informacio@gmail.com. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Cookies

We use technical cookies that are necessary for the website and the shopping cart to work, and analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
